As part of our design consulting and signage work for the W Hotel Washington with Jones Lang LaSalle and BBGM, we were retained to work with Culinary Concepts Hospitality Group design team. The project assignment was to create a marquee design and brand identification in keeping with the historic elements of the property and new JG brand. We designed the entry marquee with a glass ceiling and wrought iron motif that mimics the existing railings at the property. The detailing and color scheme all match the hotel’s existing marquee structures, along with a menu display cabinet to complement. We handled the landmarks approvals with BBGM and provided construction administration through the implementation.
